Jumbo's Maker Studio

Jumbo’s Maker Studio is a place for you to come create anything you can dream up!  We have Maker-Students on staff at all times to help you brainstorm ideas or start on a project. 3D print your own kitchen utensils, make a light-up card, use LEGO robotics to prototype an ice-cream sundae making machine–if you can dream it, you can build it.

At Jumbo’s Maker Studio, learning new skills and idea sharing are always encouraged. If there are any classes you would like to teach or if you would like to become a leader in the space, we are more than happy to get you started. Makers of all sorts are welcome!

Visit our website for our upcoming workshops, brown-bag lunches, and more.

CEEO Maker Internship

The members of the Center for Engineering Education and Outreach are dedicated toward improving engineering education in the classroom; from kindergarten to college. We have a research program aimed at understanding how kinds and adults learn engineering. This research then informs our development of various educational tools. We collaborate with a number of companies to bring these tools to the classroom and then our outreach arm works with teachers around the world to further refine these tools and to support the teacher-user community. The Center houses faculty, staff, and graduate students from engineering disciplines and the education department.
